UTD Education Joins Celebration of International Day of the Girl Child and the 7th Anniversary of the Noi Framework
UTD Education was honored to participate in the celebration of Noi’s 17th birthday and the International Day of the Girl Child, an event held under the powerful and meaningful theme: “Invest in Girls' Rights: Our Leadership, Our Well-being.” The occasion marked both a milestone for the Noi Framework and a nationwide commitment to supporting girls’ development, empowerment, and education.
As part of its contribution to the event, UTD Education played an active role by organizing the audition and selection of the Nang Noi representative, who would later step on stage to speak in front of the audience. This selection process provided young girls with a platform to express themselves, showcase their strengths, and build confidence.
In addition, UTD Education provided English Public Speaking training to the selected participants, helping them develop their communication skills, stage presence, and confidence in expressing their ideas. This initiative reflects UTD’s dedication to nurturing young leaders and equipping them with valuable skills that support both personal and academic growth.
UTD Education extends heartfelt appreciation for the opportunity to support youth development and gender equality in Laos. The event highlighted not only a celebration of Noi’s 17th birthday but also the ongoing efforts to promote girls’ rights and leadership throughout the country.
We are especially proud of our Nang Noi representative who showcased her remarkable abilities on stage, embodying the resilience and leadership potential of Lao girls.
UTD Education would like to express its sincere gratitude to all organizers, partners, and participants who joined this meaningful celebration. Together, we continue to uplift and empower young women across Lao PDR, paving the way for a brighter and more equitable future.
