UTD Education Partners in the Innovative Scholarship Forum 2025 (ISF) to Empower Lao Student

Vientiane, Lao PDR — 03–04 October 2025 The Innovative Scholarship Forum 2025 (ISF) took place at the National University of Laos, bringing together students, educators, and scholarship experts for two days of valuable insights and opportunities. The event focused on providing comprehensive information about international education and guiding young Lao learners on how to successfully obtain some of the world’s most prestigious scholarships.

Participants gained practical knowledge and inspiration about global scholarship programs, including:

• Stipendium Hungaricum (Hungary)

• Erasmus+ (European Union)

• Chevening (United Kingdom)

• Australia Awards Scholarships

• Manaaki New Zealand Scholarships

• Government of Canada programs

• and many other international opportunities

UTD Education was honored to serve as an Activity Sponsor for the event, supporting one of the main highlights: the ISF English Challenge 2025. This English Public Speaking competition encouraged students to showcase their communication skills, confidence, and critical thinking abilities on stage.

The competition recognized the Top 3 performers, who received special prizes provided by UTD Education, including:

• Free IELTS Preparation Course

• 50% discount on IELTS Courses

• 20% discount on IELTS Courses
  

These awards aimed to further support students in strengthening their English proficiency—a key requirement for most international scholarships.

In addition to sponsoring the competition, UTD Education also offered Free IELTS Speaking tests during the event. This initiative allowed participants to assess their current speaking level, receive feedback from experienced instructors, and better understand their readiness for future IELTS exams.

The free test sessions received enthusiastic participation from students who wanted to gain firsthand experience of an IELTS speaking environment.
