Behind this national impact is founder Phetmany Viyadeth, whose personal journey continues to shape UTD’s mission. Raised in Luang Prabang, she faced the same challenges many Lao students encounter today; unclear processes, limited guidance, and costly mistakes in pursuing overseas education. Those experiences became the foundation of UTD Education: a commitment to ensuring no Lao student navigates that path alone again.
Under her leadership, UTD Education helps students choose the right certifications, plan early, and follow the most suitable academic pathway; preventing wasted years and unnecessary expenses. UTD works closely with families and schools to provide English preparation, structured counseling, and long-term education planning tailored to each student’s goals.
“My mission is simple,” Phetmany says. “I want Lao students to have faster, smarter, and more affordable access to global education; so they can return home and create meaningful change.”
With a proven track record and a growing presence across Laos and ASEAN, UTD Education is emerging as a leading force in developing globally competitive Lao youth. Its work is not only transforming individual lives; it is contributing to the nation’s long-term human capital development.
