UTD Education Expands to Southern Laos With New Pakse Branch and Hosts the First Education Fair in Pakse

With the opening of UTD Education Pakse, students in the region now have access to a wide range of English and IELTS preparation courses delivered through UTD’s international-standard curriculum. The center also offers professional study-abroad consultation, helping students explore academic options overseas — a service especially valuable for those who want to study abroad but may not know where to begin.

Alongside the branch opening, UTD Education successfully organized the first-ever UTD Education Fair in Pakse in collaboration with TCR Group and Friendship Mall, bringing international opportunities directly to students in southern Laos. The event marked a historic moment for Pakse’s educational development, offering the community its first large-scale platform to connect with global institutions.

The fair featured 18 schools, institutions, and universities from around the world, including representatives from:

• Australia

• Thailand

• and other participating countries
  

Students and parents were able to meet official representatives in person, ask questions, compare study programs, and receive real-time guidance tailored to their goals.

The Education Fair and the opening of UTD Pakse demonstrate UTD’s commitment to supporting Lao students not only in Vientiane but across the country. By bringing international universities to Pakse for the first time, the event created an accessible gateway to global education for local students who previously had limited access to such opportunities.
